Magistrate Seini Puamau has deferred her ruling on evidentiary hearing in the matter involving Freesoul Real Estate Development (Fiji) PTE Ltd.

Ms Puamau had said the ruling should be ready by midday today but she also needed time to finalise the proof and also put it in order.

Freesoul is charged with two separate counts of undertaking unauthorised developments and one count of failure to comply with a prohibition notice under the Environment Management Act 2005.

Freesoul denies allegations of unauthorised developments on Malolo Island in the Mamanuca Group.

The trial has been listed to begin in November.

Ms Puamau will deliver her ruling via Skype on November 3, 2020.
