REVAMPING its marketing approach, national airline Fiji Airways has launched a new campaign that offers a free international getaway for locals.
Airline CEO Stefan Pichler said the company wanted to include Fijians in its marketing campaign.
“We have revamped our marketing approach and are now seeking to include more of Fiji’s biggest asset — its people — in the way we market our company and the country overseas,” he said.
“This new campaign serves the dual purposes of offering a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for a trip abroad to the winner(s) who clearly deserve a holiday.
“Whether they have a busy work schedule and don’t have the time to relax or have never travelled overseas before, we are looking to capture some key emotional moments for our upcoming marketing campaign.
“Similar to our friendly service, the winner(s) will be looked after as if they are family throughout the entire experience, in the air and on the ground.”
He said the campaign would resonate well with Fijians.
“If someone has never travelled or left the country, everything from receiving a passport, going to the airport and boarding a plane will be very exciting.”
