FRA: Roads and crossings closed subsequent to flooding

CERTAIN roads and crossings remain closed in the Western and Central divisions as authorities wait for floodwaters to recede.

The Fiji Roads Authority (FRA) confirmed this afternoon that the following roads and crossings in Sigatoka remain closed: Nasivikoso Road, Rabaraba Crossing, Nacocolevu Road, Lawai Crossing and Yalasa Road.

The FRA has also confirmed that the two crossings mentioned are still under water and is closed to all traffic.

The following roads and crossings that are closed in the Central Division are: Wailase Road, Nasi Crossing, Sawanikula Bukunivatu Road, Wainiogai Crossing, Colata Road, Colata Crossing, WailaRoad, Waila Flats, Buiduna Road, Dawakoto Road, Dawakoto Flats and Waidamudamu.

FRA has confirmed that the areas mentioned above still remain flooded and authorities are monitoring and waiting for the water to recede.
