Bitumen supply that was supposed to arrive on January 12 is awaiting clearance before it can be released to the Fiji Roads Authority (FRA), says FRA acing CEO Kamal Prasad.

“It has arrived.  We are awaiting clearance at the Port,” Mr Prasad said.

Bitumen supply was initially supposed to arrive on January 12 but was delayed and arrived on January 17.

The Fiji Roads Authority has been temporarily filling potholes in certain areas while waiting for the shipment to arrive.
