Fiji Football national coach Flemming Serritslev is picking no favourites but expects a heated contest with all four teams equal during the 2020 Punjas Battle of the Giants semi-finals at Churchill Park today.

“I’ll expect two very tough semi-finals because it will be Ba against Rewa and Nadi against Suva, and all teams are showing a good performance at the moment,” Serritslev said.

“Rewa was strong all the time in the competition and Ba’s young team are getting more game time together and getting better and better.”

Serritslev has rated Nadi as a tournament team after their unbeaten run during the BOG pool matches but have also had their ups and downs.

“Nadi has shown up to be a good tournament team, they are about more unstable in the Vodafone Premier League but at the BOG they have shown a good level.

“Suva beat Nadi the last time they met in the VPL so it will be a match that is very equal.”

With all teams harnessing both strengths and weaknesses in the areas of their game, Serritslev says it is too early to call which two teams will make the final.

“It is very difficult to say due to the performances I have seen until now, again they are very equal and you never know.”
