Four active COVID-19 cases in Fiji – Minister

Fiji currently has four active cases of COVID-19.

This was highlighted by Health Minister Dr Ifereimi Waqainabete in Parliament.

He said 22 patients had recovered.

“We have had two border quarantine cases that passed on,” he said.

“We are also aware that both of them, as you know, are over 60 years old and we all know that susceptibility and the vulnerability that people in that age group and also comorbidities have to COVID-19.”
