Former WAF workers appear in Lautoka court

FORMER Water Authority of Fiji workers who were arrested on Wednesday appeared at the Lautoka Magistrates Court this afternoon.
Police Chief of Intelligence and Investigation Assistant Commissioner Bitukula Waqanui said the 28 were charged with unlawful assembly.
“The group are alleged to have unlawfully gathered on a piece of land in Lautoka on Tuesday morning and refused to disperse when directed to by Police,” he said.
