FORMER manager for N.Mudaliar & Co appeared before the Suva Magistrates Court charged with falsification of documents.
It is alleged that Reginald Roniesh Lal falsified four tax compliance certificates issued for the purpose of Fiji Revenue and Customs Law
and as a result obtained a gain from Advance Construction and Aldex Trading Limited.
The alleged incident occurred between January 1, 2015 and September 30, 2016 in Suva.
Magistrate Deepika Prakash has granted him bail in the sum of $1000 with one surety who signed a surety bond of $1000.
She has also issued a stop departure order against 43-year-old Mr Lal.
The case has been adjourned to November 8, for plea.
