Fiji’s former first lady and widow of late President Ratu Josefa Iloilovatu Uluivuda, Adi Salaseini Kavunono Uluivuda, has passed away.

Taukei Sawaieke Ratu Tevita Momoedonu confirmed that Adi Kavunono, 68, passed away in Suva two days ago after some illness.

Ratu Tevita said the vanua o Vuda – led by the Tui Vuda, Ratu Eparama Kitione Tavaiqia – will present their i reguregu in Nabua tomorrow.

She will be laid to rest in Suva on Saturday.
