FORMER Fiji primary schools under-12 football champion Ba, is out to regain lost gory in the 2019 edition at the Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori.
The team hopes to win the U14 grade for the 44th Vodafone Fiji Primary Schools Inter District Championship (IDC) which started on Thursday and ends today.
Ba, along with Nadi and Labasa, have four points each with one win and one draw after their matches yesterday.
Coach Rajneel Kumar said they hoped to win this year’s U14 grade to restore glory at primary schools in Ba.
“Majority of these players were part of the under-12 and from there we built our under-14 team,” Kumar said.
“The players are working on their individual performance. For us, we need to work on our finishing and communication on the field.”
Kumar said team building was important and they had to sacrifice because of the examination period for most of their players.
