THE first batch of 2019 police recruits that passed out from the Fiji Police Academy last week were welcomed by the Western Division Police Family today.

Divisional Police Commander West (DPC/W) Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Surend Sami who welcomed the new officers into the Western Division stressed that many of them joined the Fiji Police Force for many reasons.

“Some was a childhood dream to be a Police, maybe some of you saw the problems in your community and want to address the issue by becoming a Police Officer. You are now here and it’s time to prove yourselves,” said SSP Sami.

DPC/W Sami further stated the Western Division will be full of challenges and has asked the new Police Officers to serve members of the community with pride and passion
