THE Capital Force netball team is working hard to get its players’ fitness level up to face two tough teams in the 2017 Digicel Punjas Netball Super League at the National Netball Centre Vodafone in Suva on Saturday.
The 2015 champion will play Central Swifts and Satellite Divas this weekend.
Coach Filomena Korovulavula said she was aware of the challenges ahead in the second week of competition.
“Both teams are very good and they have former national reps,” she said.
“I am happy with my young players playing at that level and they are proving their best for the Capital Force team.
“I have players from the under-17 Suva team who played in the last match and hopes are high that they would maintain their performance.”
Capital Force defeated Stallion Starlets 67-29 last weekend in Suva.
“We are working on our fitness and we have shifted a lot of focus on our fitness level. We finished the competition second last year and we want to win the title this year.
“There are players who had been training with the national squad and it will bring a lot of experience into the Capital Force.
“I see a lot of future players in the Capital Force who are playing in the Suva team.”
