Football team departs for international matches in Vanuatu

THE Vodafone Fiji national football team left our shores today to play two international friendly matches in Vanuatu.

Coach Christophe Gamel has named a strong 20- member team to play against Vanuatu and Tahiti.

Lautoka’s Dave Radigai will captain the team and will be assisted by stopper Simione Tamanisau and defender Ame Votoniu.

Fiji plays hosts Vanuatu in its first match next Friday.
