FIJI women’s football captain Sofi Diyalowai took part in her final trial with French Ligue One club Stade De Reims earlier this morning.

Diyalowai said she had enjoyed her short stint with one of the top clubs in France and is hopeful of a favorable decision from selectors.

“I have a feeling that I can do it. Like I always say that I leave everything to god. Without him I cannot do anything and without him I am nothing. In every training and games I give all my burdens to him,” she said.

She added that the trials have been a great experience for her.

“Trials were good. Playing and training with the professional players here I found very interesting and I learnt a lot from them,” she added.

National football coach Christophe Gamel has confirmed that he has been following Diyalowai closely in France and has been attending her trials.

Gamel said that it would be a remarkable achievement if she does get selected.
