THE Fiji National University will soon construct a state of the art million dollar four-storey complex for its College of Business, Hospitality and Tourism.
Speaking at the event, Fiji’s Minister for Education, Heritage and Arts Rosy Akbar said this was a sign of Government’s commitment to upgrade the university’s learning and teaching facility.
“This four storey complex for the College of Business, Hospitality, and Tourism Studies will consist of 14 classrooms with a 354 student capacity lecture theatre. This will go a long way in providing students with the modern learning environment they deserve,” Ms Akbar said.
“The project also consists of a student hub which will provide centralized student academic support enabling easier access to student information and enrollment. As part of Government’s promise not to leave any Fijian behind, this building also caters for students with special needs.”
The new complex when completed will provide students with state of the art facilities and access to modern technologies.
