FNPF roadshow goes North

FNPF members in the Northern Division will be able to raise concerns and issues directly with executives when the annual member forum roadshow tours the North at the end of this month.
During three recent forums in Nadi, Lautoka and Suva, the fund noted the attendance of about 400 members, pensioners and employers.
CEO Aisake Taito said the forum continued to draw increasing interest from members since it started in 2013.
“It was practically a full house in all venues this year, which is indicative that members are taking a keen interest on the development of their retirement savings,” he said in a statement.
He said participants were presented with an overview of the fund’s progress and future plans, adding members were also encouraged to ask questions regarding the fund and its operations.
“The forum is an opportunity for the fund to gauge the level of understanding our members have on the role of the fund, and its processes,” Mr Taito said.
“It also provides an avenue for the fund to hear from members and pensioners and use their comments to improve services.”
Queries received during the past forums included pension-related issues, member services, the extension of benefits provided by FNPF, customer services and investment.
