The Fiji National Provident Fund (FNPF) today announced a 6 per cent interest which will be credited to members’ accounts on June 30 (2022).

FNPF chief executive officer Viliame Vodonaivalu said the Fund had paid out close to $1.6 billion in interest to members in the past five years.

At a press conference this morning, Mr Vodonaivalu said about 392,175 members will have their accounts credited with the new interest rate.

He highlighted that the growth in the interest rate was the result of growth in returns from their investment in government bonds.
