FNPF and EFL formalise information-sharing partnership

Listen to this article:

THE Fiji National Provident Fund (FNPF) and Energy Fiji Limited (EFL) signed a Memorandum of Understanding today formalising a partnership that will promote information sharing, for compliance purposes, and will benefit Fund members.

Through the MoU, EFL will provide the FNPF with employment data captured from its data collection system; and it will be assessed and validated by the FNPF within the agreed timeline before it reverts to EFL.

FNPF chief executive officer Jaoji Koroi said his team had identified common areas where the Fund could partner with organisations to ensure that their stakeholders were compliant to FNPF’s requirements.

Under the MoU, EFL affiliates, preferred suppliers, principal suppliers, principal contractors and sub-contractors will be required to submit FNPF Compliance Letters once they have registered with EFL’s Data Collection System.
