Flying Fijians present itatau before departing for the RWC

THE Fiji Airways Flying Fijians rugby team presented their itatau to the president Jioji Konrote at the State House in Suva this afternoon before they leave for the Rugby World Cup in Japan.

The 32 member squad alongside with the head coach John McKee, the Fiji Rugby Union chief executive officer John O’Connor and team management gathered at the president’s residence seeking the blessings from the head of state and the blessings from the people of Fiji as they disembark on a one month journey to Tokyo, Japan.

The team flies out on Friday and their first pool match is against the Australian Wallabies on Saturday 21, 2019.
