Flying Fijians beat Barbarians to win Killik Cup

THE Fiji airways Flying Fijians upset the World Barbarians 33-31 to win the Killik Cup in England this morning.

The Fijians displayed open style rugby and entertained fans with hard hitting tackles.

Man of the match John Dyer scored two tries for Fiji while Enele Malele, Teti Tela and Temo Mayanavanua scored a try each.

Tela converted four of the five tries.

Mathieu Bastareaud, Andre Esterhuizen , Makazole Mapimpi920 and Morne Steyn scored tries for the Barbarians.

Fiji led 14-12 at half-time.

This is Fiji’s first win over the Barbarians since 1970.

Fiji beat the Barbarians 29-9 that year.
