BEACHCOMBER heard this from a friend.

An elderly woman from the island came to Suva to file some documents for her insurance at a bank.

One morning, she thought to call the bank to follow up on her case and the phone message said, “We value your call, it has been placed in our priority queue.”

Her grandchildren burst into laughter when 30 minutes later, their grandmother was shouting on the phone: “This is what you call prioritising my call? #$%(*$.”
