Five-star resort ready to welcome local resident guests

With the reopening of the local containment borders and relaxing of the travel restrictions, the Fiji Marriott Resort Momi Bay is excited to welcome their local resident guests to the five-star resort.

A statement from the resort yesterday said since the second wave lockdown in April 2021, the resort had remained open seven days a week as it continued to provide a clean, safe and hygienic holiday destination to its guests for a much-needed stress free vacation and welcoming associates to resume back to work, providing service from the heart to its guests.

“We continued to offer our popular Momi Bay Escape, launched last year supporting the Love Our Locals campaign for our local residence guests. An extra $25 food and beverage bonus credit is inclusive per room per night for guests booking to stay until the 30th September 2021.

Those who wish to stay for a minimum of two nights, they will receive additional discounts.

This weekend, our bar at the infinity pool will be open, inviting guests to enjoy a relaxing day with a refreshing drink by the pool and watch the spectacular sunsets.

An indulgent barbecue buffet with a variety of grilled favourites will be available for Saturday evening,” it said.

According to the resort management Suva is their main domestic market and since lockdown they have remained open under limited operations adhering to strict COVID-19 safe business guidelines.

It also highlighted that despite all COVID challenges and restrictions the beauty of Momi Bay hasn’t changed and the resort’s beautiful bures, stunning pools, culinary craftsmanship were awaiting, especially their guests from Suva.

“We have in place Marriott International’s Commitment to Clean program which had established elevated cleaning and hygienic procedures across the resort. The resort is also Care Fiji Commitment certified, as we pride ourselves in taking care of the well-being of our guests and associates. Regular trainings had been facilitated, becoming our best practices including regular hand washing practices, hand sanitizing, surface sanitizing with an electrostatic spray, social distancing, wearing facemasks, contact tracing, providing contactless services on property and more.
