First commercial flight carrying 300 passengers

About 300 passengers from Sydney, Australia, are on their way to Fiji.

The first of two flights, from Australia today, will mark Fiji’s first commercial flight carrying tourists in more than a year.

Fiji Airports Limited acting CEO Isei Tudreu said they had been waiting for 20 months for today.

He said every stakeholder in the industry were happy to welcome visitors back to Fiji.
