Fiji’s suspended Solicitor-General Sharvada Nand Sharma has been terminated.

The Fijian Government confirmed this in a statement posted on its official social media Facebook page last night.

According to the statement, it stated that President Jioji Konrote had, on the advice of the Judicial Services Commission and in accordance with the Fijian Constitution, terminated Mr Sharma’s appointment as the Solicitor-General of Fiji.

On September 21, Mr Sharma was suspended from his job pending a tribunal hearing, reportedly related to a complaint that had been filed with the JSC.
