THE National Men’s Rugby League Nines team spent their second last day in the country giving back to the environment and joined Vodafone Fiji’s 25th birthday celebrations in planting more than 2000 mangrove seedlings at the Suva Foreshore today.

“As we wind down now before we leave for Samoa, it was great to be part of this initiative in giving back to the environment,” said team manager Tevita Korosaya.

“More people, not just sporting teams, should come out and we all do our part to give back to the environment.”

The team was part of the Vodafone Fiji’s 25th birthday celebrations, which included planting mangrove seedlings at the Suva foreshore.
