Fiji’s largest trade, entertainment event

The 2018 Fiji Showcase will be a festive one this year as customers will be able to take advantage of the “Xmas Special”.

This year’s event is a special one due to the unusual time of the year and FIJI Showcase — The XMAS Special will give everyone a chance for one-stop shopping for Xmas plus the opportunity to enjoy the food, rides and local entertainment particularly,” said manager Total Event Company, Loretta Jackson.

This event will be family orientated as there will be something for everyone. Children will enjoy the magic and comedy shows, international performers, the fun-park, and most of all the carnival rides.

Adults will also get to enjoy the great shopping experience, interesting and new products, as well as entertainment to suit them on their outing with the whole family.

According to Ms Jackson more than 90,000 visitors are expected to come to the event so for exhibitors it is an opportunity to promote and sell or introduce their products and services, gather leads and meet potential new customers directly.

Because of major renovations on-going at the Vodafone Arena the nine- day show will be held at the FMF Gymnasium, ANZ Stadium car park and Multipurpose Courts.

The Fiji Showcase Xmas Special site includes the main hall inside the FMF Gymnasium and a large marquee in the ANZ Stadium car park for shopping as well as visiting exhibitors.

The manager said the featured areas covered a diverse range of products, services and entertainment to ensure that the needs of consumers were catered for in totality.

These include fashion and beauty, home furnishings, technology and electronics, general products, office works, outdoor living, lifestyle, arts and craft, kids clothing, educational resources, trade display, cars and car products, sport and leisure, garden centre and food court.

In regards to the fun park there will be amusement rides across the road in the multipurpose centre with no requirement of an entry fee.

There will also be a line of entertainment which will surely captivate everyone by their performance. Performers such as the Zimboyz from Zimbabwe, the Inner Mongolian Acrobatic Troupe from China as well as Australia’s favourite clown Christof.

Fiji Showcase 2018 will also feature local performers such as Voqa Ni Delai Dokidoki, Leba Boiyawa e Lomai Nasau, Malumu ni Tobu kei Naivaukura, Savu Ni Delai Lomai, Caáu ni mana éi Uluinaviriviri, Via Ni Tebara and special guest Ronald Jai In addition the FM96 Qiri-Kava competition, radios Navtarang and Sargam’s Hungama and much more.

Ticket entries for the main area are from $4 for adults and $3 for children.

Fiji Showcase 2018 — The Xmas Special is organised and managed by the Total Event Company. The event is promoted by Communications Fiji Ltd’s five radio networks, FM96, LegendFM, Navtarang, Sargam and VITI FM and website.
