FijiFirst party leader Voreqe Bainimarama was sworn in as Prime Minister for the second term at the State House in Suva this morning.

Mr Bainimarama vowed to serve the people of Fiji.

He said voters of the 2018 general election had shown that they wanted a government that doesn’t want discrimination.

This,  he said resulted in their win in the 2018 general election.

The event was attended by his family, diplomats and government officials.

Mr Bainimarama said they had yet to discuss the ministerial portfolios.

The leader along with his ruling party won the 2018 General Election with about 50 percent of total votes, as announced by the Fijian Elections Office on Sunday.

This earned FijiFirst 27 of 51 seats in Parliament.
