THE Fijiana 7s team headed to camp yesterday to prepare for the Japan 7s on April 22-23.
Coach Iliesa Tanivula said his players who featured in the Fiji Bitter Marist 7s had recovered.
“We got in a few girls from the Marist 7s and we also saw the return of Esiteri Bulikiobo,” he said.
“We are giving her another go and hopefully the other girls that are in the squad will get to know the system, especially the attack and defence and what we do in camp.”
Meanwhile, Timaima Ravisa said after the Marist 7s the players were ready to showcase their talents.
“What we need right now is the support from the public like how the men’s team is supported. We will be capable of upsetting international teams.
“I am trying to get my fitness up to par and concentrate on getting my feet back in the level I want and my skills sharpened.
“There is no secret to my success, but just listening to instructions and go out there and play because I play rugby for passion,” Ravisa said.
