FIJIAN wonder-boy and Wellington Phoenix striker Roy Krishna has gained New Zealand citizenship.

Krishna joined New Zealand’s Waitakere United in 2008, and in the 10 years following has had a stellar football career encompassing Auckland City FC and 100 games for the Wellington Phoenix.

He is Wellington Phoenix’s most decorative goal scorer, topping the list with 34.

Roy officially became a New Zealand citizen at a ceremony in Wellington earlier today according to Fiji Football Association’s post on their official Facebook page.
