Fijian scores major role in US TV series

A YOUNG man who was the first Fijian to complete acting studies at Yale School of Drama in the United States – has scored a major role in popular television series, FBI.

Setareki Alexander Wainiqolo, who once spent his school holidays milking cows in Naluwai Village in Naitasiri, said he was ‘over the moon’ when the casting director for the US TV series called him in to meet the director.

Speaking to the Fiji Times from the US, he said he hoped his journey would inspire other Fijians to take a leap of faith and pursue their dreams with passion.
