Fijian Police yet to identify second victim found inside burnt taxi

Fijian Police investigators are yet to determine the identity of the second victim who was found inside a burnt taxi along the Viseisei Bypass in Lautoka last month.

Police say while DNA analysis has confirmed the identity of the first victim, investigators are yet to identify the second victim.

And the Lautoka Police are requesting information that could assist in an ongoing investigation in relation to the death of two people.

“The only information on hand is that the victim is male, and if anyone has a member of their family missing from home, we request your assistance in calling Crime Stoppers Fiji  on 919 or 9905 178,” Police said.

“DNA testing will be conducted and compared with samples gathered from the unknown victim.”
