Fijian Parliament: Rabuka says attacks demonstrates low respect for law and order

THE recent attacks on police demonstrates a low respect for law and order in the country says Leader of Opposition Sitiveni Rabuka.

Responding to the President’s address during the opening of parliament Mr Rabuka said this was surely a definite sign of low national morale.

Mr Rabuka labeled the handing over of the national 15s rugby team during the recent Rugby World Cup in Japan by the Defence Minister Inia Seruiratu at night as a sign of low morale and poor management.

He said that crime rate in the country continued to worsen.
