FIJIAN men must learn to share their problems and be more open to discussing their feelings and the challenges they face in life.

This was the word from Fiji Counselling Association general secretary Uliano Tikoilakeba Kataiwai.

“In iTaukei culture, men are viewed as strong members of society, so this prevents a lot of them from sharing the problems they are facing because it could be viewed as a sign of weakness,” he said.
