THE Fiji Drua rugby team dropped to seventh place after they drew 24-24 against NSW Country Eagles on Saturday in the National Rugby Championship.

However, the teams’ statistics prove they are capable of getting a comeback in their next match.

For the past three rounds, Fiji has been dominating the metres gained in an attack and accumulated 1811 metres in three games, showing their consistency during their attack play.

They are also the team with the highest number of clean breaks and they’ve won majority of the turnovers and the turnovers conceded.

Team captain Eremasi Radrodro said after their match against Western Force in the second round, they were losing possession in their advantage zone and it had cost them in the past rounds.

“We have made a lot of basic mistakes such as losing the ball near the try line and we had so many opportunities but we couldn’t execute them so we will regroup and try to work on our mistakes and come back stronger in our next game,” said Radrodro.

The Drua will face Sydney on their next match on Saturday at Lautoka’s Churchill Park.
