Fiji women’s football moves up in latest FIFA rankings

THE Vodafone Fiji women’s football side has clawed its way up nine positions in the latest FIFA World rankings.

The Marika Rodu coached side is now ranked 72nd in the world.

The rise is the outcome of the second place finish at the recent Oceania Nations Cup in Papua New Guinea.

Fiji is ranked third in Oceania behind New Zealand and Papua New Guinea.
