The tour will feature workshops on effective use of traditional and social media, capacity-building, advocacy and effective party responsibilities, among others.

The women MPs are Minister for Industry, Trade, Tourism, Local Government, Housing and Community Development Premila Kumar; Minister for Women, Children and Poverty Alleviation Mereseini Vuniwaqa; Minister for Education, Heritage and Arts Rosy Akbar; Assistant Minister for iTaukei Affairs Selai Adimaitoga, and Oppostion MPs Ro Teimumu Kepa, Adi Litia Qionibaravi, Salote Radrodro and SODELPA whip Lynda Tabuya.

Ms Haddad said the highlight of the trip would be “the rendezvous between the New Zealand Prime Minister, Jacinda Arden, with the women MPs.”
