THE Fiji Volleyball Federation has begun their preparation to the 2019 Pacific Games which will be held in Apia, Samoa.

The association is organising the Alliance Volleyball Competition which will be held next Saturday at the Nasinu Multi-Purpose court in Valelevu, Nasinu.

Tournament director Joji Tavura said the competition would be held to support the national volleyball team in terms of their preparation to the Pacific Games.

“The money raised from this competition is to support the team financially in terms of payment.

There are things to pay like the hiring of the court for training in court sessions and the transportation as well as other team logistics and matters,” said Tavura.
