Fiji to host 4 NRC matches

FIJIANS get to watch more international rugby matches before year end.

After the success of playing host to the Super Rugby match between the Gallagher Chiefs and the BNZ Crusaders and the June Test series against Italy and Scotland, the Vodafone Flying Fijians get to host four National Rugby Championship (NRC) here at home.

This is after the NRC fixtures were announced yesterday by World Rugby.

Fiji hosts New South Wales Country Eagles at Lawaqa Park, Sigatoka at 3pm on Round 3 on Saturday, September 16.

Round 4 on Saturday, September 23 Fiji plays Perth Spirit at the ANZ Stadium, Suva – 3pm, Round 8: Saturday, October 21: Fiji vs QLD Country: Churchill Park, Lautoka – 5pm and Round 9: Saturday, October 28: Fiji vs Sydney Rays – ANZ Stadium, Suva – 3pm

In the first round, the John McKee-coached Fijians meet Brisbane City vs Fiji at the Ballymore Stadium, Brisbane on September 2 at 3pm.
