Fiji reaffirms commitment with Palau

Fijian Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama has conveyed a congratulatory message to the Republic of Palau on the occasion of the country’s 26th Independence Day celebrations.

In his message to the President of the Republic Palau, Tommy Esang Remengesau Jr, Mr Bainimarama conveyed Fiji’s best wishes to Palau and its people on this occasion of their country’s independence.

He said Fiji and Palau had enjoyed friendly relations over the years, underpinned by shared interests, values, and aspirations.

He also reaffirmed Fiji’s commitment to strengthen the levels of engagements between the two nations for the future through enhancing regional solidarity.
