THE public private partnership between Aitken Spence and the Fiji Ports Terminal Ltd has proven to be a huge success with staff members getting a bonus payment as part of their 2017 performance pay.

FPTL board chairperson and Energy Fiji Ltd CEO Hasmukh Patel said the bonus payout was based on the performance of the staff members and their individual key performance indicators (KPIs).

Mr Patel said they valued their human capital and confirmed that the company was investing heavily in training staff members.

He said the company would also invest in new technology and equipment that would lead to efficient services provided by the ports.
