Fiji Police WATERPOL unit rescue six from Naqara Passage

Six people were rescued from  Naqara waters on Thursday night after developing an engine problem while out on a fishing trip.

The six – aged 15 to 38 years old – are residents of Wailekutu.

Police said WATERPOL responded to their SOS call.

A team left out on the FPB OPS3 boat where they were able to rescue them from the Naqara Passage and brought them back to Suva,” Police said.
