Fiji Police question 10 students over defilement allegations

TEN students of a secondary school in Nasinu have been cautioned interviewed and released for a case of alleged defilement against a fellow student.

The alleged incidents occurred sometime between May and June this year.

Police said a Year 10 student was the victim in this alleged incident.

The incident came to light when one of the teachers had heard rumours and referred the matter to school principal.

Police also confirmed that the 10 students suspects were between 16 to 19 years old.

The investigation file will be forwarded to the Office of the DPP once completed.
