Fiji FA yet to appoint national coach

THE Fiji Football Association will have a new national coach by next month.

This has been confirmed by Fiji FA President Rajesh Patel.

“We have been advised by OFC of the shortlisted coaches. Our CEO Mohammed Yusuf is on medical leave and will return soon. We will sit together with our Technical Director and decide who our next coach will be,” he said.

Meanwhile, the Fiji Under-16 girls’ team is in camp preparing for the OFC Nations Cup in New Caledonia.

Fiji is in Group A with Tonga and American Samoa.

Fiji’s first match is against Tonga at 1pm on December 7.
