THE Fiji Football Association has suspended nine players after national Under-23 trials in Ba.

Fiji FA CEO Mohammed Yusuf has confirmed this saying all of them tested positive for drugs.

“All nine players have been suspended for thirty days. They are all first time offenders so will be re-tested after one month.” He said.

Yusuf added that all players suspended were local based players.

The U23 trials finished last Wednesday.

The selected players will march into camp in April.
