Fiji FA receives 24 transfer applications

THE Fiji Football Association has received a total of 24 transfer applications in this transfer window.

Newly promoted Nasinu FA wanted 11 players from other districts on its shopping list.

The side bids to strengthen its 2019 campaign.

Players that have applied for their release to join Nasinu are Savenaca Baledrokadroka (Rewa), Mohammed Naizal ( Rewa), Charlie Benjamin (Rewa), Anushil Prasad (Rewa), Arami Manumanubai (Lautoka), Leisari Qalica (Lautoka), Isikeli Ratucava (Lami), Manasa Levaci (Lami), Leone Damudamu (Suva), Alzar Alam (Navua) and Robert Rabici (Taveuni).

Labasa defender Antonio Tuivuna has applied to return to his former team Suva and is likely to be joined by Nadi striker Napolioni Qasevakatini.

Other players wanting to play for Suva are Ba’s Laisenia Raura and Solomon Islands reps Jeffery Bule and Mathias Iani.

Rewa has applied for the release of two Solomon Islanders in Keloby Benty and Charlie Otaihao together with Vanuatu’s Tony Kaltac.

Lautoka has Samuela Nabenia of Ba and Sairusi Nalaubu of Rewa in their shopping list while Ba also has Solomon Islander Darold Kakasi in its list.

Fiji FA chief executive officer Mohammed Yusuf said some transfers had been approved while the rest would be considered before the closure of the transfer window.
