THE Fiji Football Association honoured its players and officials during an awards night last week in Suva.

Fiji FA president Rajesh Patel said the occasion was to acknowledge the achievements and contribution made by the players and officials for the successful completion of last year’s season.

Lautoka’s Dave Radregai was named the 2017 Footballer of the Year while Tailevu Naitasiri coach Laisani Mataele engraved her name in the sports history books by being the first woman to win the Coach of the Year award.
