DESPITE the 24-14 win against France in their last pool game at the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series Dubai 7s tournament, the Fiji Airways Fiji 7s team failed to progress to the cup quarterfinal stage with France and Argentina going forward from Pool A.

A derelict performance filled with indiscipline from Fiji saw them loss to Argentina 21-24 in their second pool game, losing their first pool match in Dubai after nine years.

Fiji will play Canada in the ninth place playoff at 1.06am tomorrow morning.
