Fiji Bati gear up for Aussie match this Thursday

THE Vodafone Fiji Bati Residents plays the visiting Australian States side in the first of two matches this Thursday at Prince Charles Park.

The Fijian squad comprise players from across the Fiji National Rugby League competition and the first week of training involved some team bonding activities, high-intensity training in the gym and a number of field-based skills sessions.

The club is camped in Sabeto and has also made use of their surroundings with some recovery sessions at the Sabeto River and also at the mud pools.

The squad will play a tri-series against touring teams from Great Britain and Australia.

A test against BARLA is scheduled for Saturday 17th November at Lawaqa Park.

Fiji Bati Residents close the tri-series with their second game against Australia Affiliated States at Prince Charles Park on the 23rd November
