National airline Fiji Airways is taking over Fiji Airports operations.
During the 2022-2023 National Budget Address, Minister for Economy Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum said after considerable deliberation, Government had identified Fiji Airways as the natural partner to manage Fiji Airports operations.
He said they have since finalised a management agreement to leverage Fiji Airways culture of world class customer service and strategic investment for the benefit of every airport in the country.
“This administrative change will not affect the business, mission, board of directors, governance structure, compliance or staff of Fiji Airports,” he said.
