Fiji admits new lawyers to the Bar

FORTY-two new lawyers who were admitted to the Bar yesterday in Suva were reminded to stay humble and to learn from others.

Chief Justice Anthony Gates in officiating at the swearing-in ceremony at Suva’s Grand Pacific Hotel said it was the new lawyers’ special day.

“It has not been easy, but your family and mentors, colleagues, lecturers and good friends have kept you on track towards your chosen career,” he said.
